mission statement

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive community where practitioners of esoteric religions, magical traditions, and diverse philosophical schools can come together to share knowledge, learn from one another, and engage in meaningful dialogue. We welcome individuals from all esoteric backgrounds, as well as those from exoteric religions or with no religious affiliation, who have a genuine interest in the arcane, esoteric practices, magic, philosophy, and religion. Our goal is to create a supportive and enriching environment that fosters mutual respect, open-mindedness, and a shared passion for the exploration of the mystical and the profound.

Core Values:

  1. Inclusivity: We embrace diversity in all its forms, encouraging participation from individuals of various esoteric and exoteric traditions, as well as those with no specific religious affiliation.

  2. Knowledge Sharing: We believe in the power of shared wisdom and experiences. Our community is a space where members can freely exchange ideas, insights, and practices.

  3. Respect: Mutual respect and understanding are foundational to our community. We value each member’s unique perspective and strive to create a safe space for open and respectful dialogue.

  5. Support: We aim to provide a supportive network where members can find guidance, encouragement, and companionship on their individual journeys.

Activities and Offerings:

This is kind of representative of what I’m aiming for, I am completely unprepared to do most of this. For now it’s just one person and an idea hoo boy.

  1. Workshops and Seminars: Regularly scheduled events where experts and experienced practitioners share their knowledge on various esoteric and magical topics.

  2. Discussion Forums: Online and in-person spaces for members to engage in thoughtful discussions about their practices, philosophies, and experiences.

  3. Resource Library: A collection of books, articles, and other materials on esoteric religions, magical traditions, and related philosophies for members to access and learn from.

  4. Ritual Gatherings: Opportunities to participate in or observe rituals and ceremonies from various traditions, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of different practices.

  5. Mentorship Programs: Connecting newer members with experienced practitioners who can provide guidance and support in their spiritual and philosophical explorations.

Community Guidelines:

  1. Be Respectful: Treat all members with kindness and respect, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds.

  2. Stay Open-Minded: Approach discussions and activities with an open mind, ready to learn and grow from others’ perspectives.

  3. Maintain Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of fellow members and maintain confidentiality about personal experiences shared within the community.

  4. Participate Actively: Engage actively in community activities, contributing to the collective growth and learning experience.

  5. Honor Diversity: Celebrate the diversity within our community, recognizing the value that different traditions and philosophies bring to our shared mission.

Really what I want is to create a place where practitioners of esoteric religions and magical traditions and philosophies can gather, share knowledge, learn from each other, talk about things that are important to us. We could be from any esoteric religion but we’re also friendly for followers of exoteric religions, or no religion at all. Basically anyone that’s interested in the arcane, esoteric, magic, philosophy, and religion would be welcome.

At the Temple of the White Lotus, we are dedicated to cultivating a sacred space where seekers of spiritual truth can find guidance, community, and enlightenment. Through an inclusive framework rooted in esoteric wisdom and eclectic traditions, we aim to inspire individuals to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, embracing the interconnectedness of all beings and the mysteries of the universe. Our mission is to foster a vibrant community that honors diversity, promotes spiritual growth, and serves as a beacon of light in the quest for higher consciousness.

the seven essentials

I saw someone on fedi a while back that was saying that seven things should be free for anyone in the world. I completely almost to every point agreed with the list, I think they’re all super obvious and important but YMMV. Anyway the list as I remember it was as follows:

  1. Food
  2. Clean water
  3. Shelter
  4. Clothing
  5. Internet access
  6. Health Care
  7. Housing
just some blabbing lol

I think bout religion a lot you know. I have a lot of weird ideas about the world and existence and the nature of the universe and god and gods and the supernatural and whatever. I’ve been tryin to organize it in my head for basically my whole life. Whenever I would start to or get an idea about writing a book I would always want it to be about the most profound whatever and blow someone’s mind with it, right? That’s always been the goal.

Every time I sit down to write something or make some art or music that’s what I’m trying to do, put down in words or sounds or something what I feel when I look at the aurora or have an incredible orgasm or see something profound on mushrooms or acid or weed. Or think about the heat death of the universe or the dimensions of it through time and the path of the light of distant stars traveling to our eyes and instruments for all those years since the beginning of everything.
