Belgian Beer Festival – Bailey's Taproom

This past Saturday I went out to Bailey's Taproom to attend the BelgianFest event. I had never been here, but this was an excellent introduction to the place. This was the second meeting of the Portland Beer Geeks Guild and a rousing success though not everyone could make it out. The Guild, FYI is how we are referring to the regular meetings devoted to the imbibing of delicious beverages. Expect more reports like these as events occur.

Some highlights were a delicious Lychee beer from Lucky Labrador and an Abbey Dubbel from Seven Brides that I swear tasted just like sesame. My #1 favorite though was the Ambacht G++. Smooth, delicious and was it named after the GNU C++ compiler? I don't know, but I will just continue to believe that.
