Readings in Ancient History

A million years ago I took a History of Western Civ class that started with this book. Readings in Ancient History is a collection of Sumerian, Greek, Egyptian, Roman, and so forth works. Included are things like political writings, descriptions of medical procedures, poems, religious writing, stories, myths, and basically anything else that could have been written down. I think there might even be a shopping list in here. The book marks were all passages I had to study for tests and such, and we didn’t cover everything in the book, but I did read the whole thing cover to cover. It’s really difficult for me to not do that.
