Mexican and Central American Mythology

I’ve always wanted to go to Mexico. Theoretically, I even have family there so I really should go at some point. One place I’d really like to visit is the Yucatan peninsula.  Not like Cancun or the other touristy areas, what I want to see are the ruins and jungles. The Mayan and Aztec stuff. I’ve always been interested in pre-Columbian things and picked up this collection of Mexican mythology hoping to educate myself on the subject. There are plenty of good stories in here, and I particularly like the ones featuring Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca. A good story about duality, chaos vs order etc is always fun.
