I bought this book at Powell's book in Portland, where I am currently spending my last day here. I had heard something about this book long ago, but I can't for the life of me remember where it was or what. But I know this book is supposed to be good. It's a fantasy story that takes place in old China, and is completely not true nor derived from any real folk tale, but it feels like it is. I've only read a couple pages in but it definitely looks like Bridge of Birds will be a page turner.
